Designing beautiful wearable shoes has been my life’s passion for many years. As a classically trained dancer I have been immersed in various disciplines of dance and in the shape, form and lines of the human body since I was old enough to take dance lessons.

The evolution from dancer to designer was a natural step. I was privileged to spend 7 years in South America where I continued my dance education and trained under master shoe designers and shoemakers who challenged and instructed me on the nuances of turning an idea into a finished product.

When I moved back to the USA I devoted myself to multifarious fashion and dance industries that contributed to my growth as a shoemaker. 

 I wanted to bring my ideas forward and share my personal experiences through handcrafted shoes  I imagine and create everyday. 

All products sold on Elizabeth Red are items that have been created or altered by Elizabeth Red. Shoes, Adornments and clothing are usually “one offs”. Once an item has sold there are no more replicas of it.
